对于游戏行业与玩家来说，今年是重要的一年，众多优秀游戏脱颖而出。除了任天堂在其中扮演的重要角色之外，《博德之门3》、《漫威蜘蛛侠2》、《装甲核心6：境界之火》、《潜水员戴夫》与《Hi-Fi Rush》等均获得大量的玩家好评。2023年度的TGA（The Game Awards）。奖项将由投票评委（占90%）和公众粉丝投票（占10%）的混合投票结果决定。玩家们可以在TGA官方网站上为他们喜爱的游戏投票。中国的玩家则可以通过Bilibili、微信和其他平台来为自己的游戏投票。
TGA2023年度游戏大奖将于2023年12月7日举行，最受瞩目的无疑是年度游戏之争：《塞尔达传说：王国之泪》 VS 《博德之门3》。另一个看点是，《星空》是否颗粒无收。
