It is reported that McDonald’s Russia said on the 27th that it has registered five new brand name applications with the Russian Patent Office, four of which are: “Fun and Tasty”, “The Same One” and “J ust Like That and Open Checkout.
McDonald’s announced in March that it would temporarily close its 847 stores in Russia, but it is still paying the salaries of 62,000 Russian employees. On May 16 local time, the company announced the end of its catering chain business in Russia for more than 30 years. Subsequently, McDonald’s announced that it would package and sell its business in Russia to Russian franchisee Gowall.
If the new names of the stores are determined, these restaurants are expected to open with a new brand name in mid-June.
